The Hug —

Like the mixing of two colors joined to make another; heartbeats close in the moment; arms outstretched to hold, intermingle the warmth of two for reason unknown; individual space set aside to cause innocent affection, sometimes confusion; another way to communicate I care even if another may not; express what is felt, yet unsure the response; to take the chance that all is well.
